Who we are

Paddle Ride Adventure — Wisconsin’s Premier Family-Friendly Kayak Tours

Guided sea-cave adventures on calm, protected water behind Long Island and Madeline Island.

Kayakers preparing to launch in the Apostle Islands.

A sea-cave tour that actually works for families

We offer family-friendly sea cave kayak tours on Chequamegon Bay. Because we’re situated behind Long Island and Madeline Island, we have a high rate of success in typical Lake Superior conditions.

This is a great paddle for kids age 5 and up and beginner paddlers. Want a bigger challenge? Try our Romans Point tour and brave conditions outside the bay’s protection. Prefer an easy, unforgettable twist? Our night kayak tour uses LED lights that illuminate the water and caves as you pass through.

Why this route is a win

No park hassles

We’re situated in the sheltered waters of Chequamegon Bay, behind Long Island and Madeline Island — giving us one of the highest on-water success rates around. Outside the national park boundaries, so no permit issues or boat shuttles. You’re never in a situation where wind or waves could trap you far from shore — easy, safe returns every time. Perfect for families, first-timers, and anyone who wants reliable adventure without the usual Lake Superior risks.
